Penopoly Dipper Pen

The pen is made from a hand picked high end acrylic material and the nibs are 18k with a star burst design on it. I put a half moon on the cap bottom inlaid with real mother of pearl, and the big dipper and little dipper on each side of the barrel also in mother of pearl. I used a platinum coated hardware for durability and looks. The pen is balanced to perfection posted or not, it is light weight and has a larger diameter for ergonomics reasons. I made this pen because I was thinking how men used the stars to navigate them around the Earth. I see writing instruments as a similar tool. Writing instruments changed the way we communicated and navigated or lives through every day communication via the written word, both were equally important and life changing for our civilization . Michael Perchin Blue Serpent Pen

Design: This is the early production fountain pen produced by Michael Perchin, INC. These beautifully crafted serpent pens were fashioned after actual faberge eggs, "The blue serpent clock egg" This pen is produced in french blue soft enamel with rhodium plating. LE size: Originally they were stated to produce 500 pieced beginning in 1997, but not all were completely done to true constraints. Early production serpents were produced with X of 500, second production X of 250, making this pen offered as the 1st production and more collectable to a collector. These pens have been sold out of production for a long time. These pens retail for $3,700 in 1992. This serpent fountain pen features English hallmarks. 925 sterling silver in 2 pieced (cap/barrel) design where the front section of the silver overlay serpent on the cap lines up perfectly with the back section of the serpent on the barrel when closed. It is engraved (known as guilloche) and coated with multiple layers of soft enamel. The alternately "wave pattern" engraving gives the pen s shimmering look. The serial number on the cap is 97/500 (not all were made). Medium nib, 18k yellow gold with Michael Perchin elephant logo with ebonik feed. Converter on cartridge filling.

Squash Blossom Fountain Pen

Texas Ranger Pen

My personal favorite pen of all time. This pen was designed after the Texas ranger badge. The design resembles a bullet and has sterling silver trim including a Texas ranger star badge. Also, on the bottom of the barrel is an aditional sterling star with a red rubycolored stone. Materials used in this wonderful peice of art work is acrylic, copper, sterling silver and exotic woods.
