Very rare Montblanc Diplomat in solid 18K gold. Rare heavy striated pattern barrel and cap. Cap has a solid gold dome and rare cap band pattern. It is estimated there were less than 100 of these made. Nib is a Fine two tone 18K Montblanc nib. Piston filler, visulated barrel. Cap is marked Montblanc Germany 750.

This huge diplomat-size 149 from the Montblanc 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection is perhaps the most famous fountain pen in the world, in Rose Gold with a Diamond in the clip, topped with a Montblanc Star of inlaid Mother-of-Pearl and STILL FACTORY-SEALED AND UNTOUCHED in its original box. It is numbered just 86 of the 1,924 of these pens that were produced and quickly sold-out within weeks in 1999. You will also get a special rare booklet issued that year by Montblanc describing the pen and other anniversary items.

Hommage A. John Harrison

Skeleton 333. Limited Edition Solid Gold.

This very rare pen was produced as a tribute to the achievements of John Harrison, inventor of a method of determining longitude at sea. Produced in 2002 as a LTD of only 333 pieces world wide, the barrel is 750 gold and based on a map of the world with its lines of latitude and longitude. The transparent precious resin is reminiscent of the blue of the sea and reveals the precision piston mechanism inside the pen. A small precious stone marks the position of the Mont Blanc massif, mother-of-pearl adorns the top of the cap, and the hand-crafted 18 carat gold nib bears Harrison's portrait.Complete with box and papers.
